Since 1995 Adept has employed experienced Braille readers to ensure that our Braille remains high-quality and fit for purpose. We use their experience to inform us of good practices and to make sure that outgoing Braille is quality-checked before distribution to end-users.
We also have in-house designers that work to ensure your Braille retains an appropriate visual appearance. All Braille documents retain your organisations logo and branding, and also includes the document title both in Print and Braille, whilst remaining accessible to the intended recipients.
You are free to specify the exact finish on your documents, however we offer advice to clients on current trends and reader preferences to ensure appropriate and respectful communication with their customers and staff regardless of the access requirements.
Variable data service
A large part of our Braille provision is for variable data (personalised), such as insurance documents, statements, utility bills, marketing info and more.
As the variable data includes personal & sensitive information Adept is a registered data controller as required under the data protection act. We are also affiliated to various data protection and processing schemes & standards.
