Large-print is an ever more popular format. Not only providing access to people with visual impairments but also making text easier to process for those with difficulty understanding standard size text.

As Large-print is still accessed visually most features from the original document can be retained, although they may require formatting & colour changes. We work with experienced Large-print readers to advise us on what is acceptable and accessible. 

Adept provides large-print in a minimum of 18pt, we recommend Arial as a font. We provide text descriptions of graphs, diagrams and pictures and increase the size of any visual items which are retained. It is often necessary to reformat tables and other items from the standard print version to ensure the Large-print version is still displaying the information in a usable way.

Variable data service

Large-print is available on our variable data service, this is for insurance documents, statements, utility bills, marketing info and other 'personalised' documents which are distributed multiple-recipients.

As the variable data includes personal & sensitive information Adept is a registered data controller as required under the data protection act. We are also affiliated to various data protection and processing schemes & standards.
